Thai Green Papaya Salad
A fresh flavorful salad that has an exotic spicy kick!
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon dried shrimp
- 2 Thai chiles or Hawaiian chili peppers
- 2 cloves garlic
- 0.125 cup fresh lime juice
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 0.5 pound grated green papaya
Instructions
- Crush the dried shrimp with the chiles and garlic cloves, then whisk in the lime juice, fish sauce and the sugar.
- Toss the dressing with the papaya and serve.
- Adjust seasoning with lime juice, fish sauce and sugar.
Notes
This is a basic recipe. There are variations on this dish which can include chopped peanuts, cilantro, tomatoes, and sliced green beans.
