Rocky Road Brownies
Mix two great flavors of desserts into one
Ingredients
- Brownies
- 0.5 cup Butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 0.333333 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 0.5 cup All Purpose Flour
- 0.25 teaspoon Salt
- 0.25 teaspoon Baking Powder
- Frosting
- 3 tablespoons butter, softened
- 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1.5 cups mini marshmallows
- 0.25 cup toasted almonds
Instructions
Brownies
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Grease and flour an 8" square pan.
- Completely melt 1/2 cup butter in the microwave.
- Pour into a mixing bowl with a paddle attachment.
- Add in the sugar, eggs and vanilla extract.
- Beat in cocoa, 1/2 cup flour, salt and baking powder.
- Spread batter into prepared pan.
- Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
- Do not overcook.
- Combine butter, cocoa, honey, vanilla and confectioners' sugar.
- Frost brownies while they are still warm.
- Sprinkle the marshmallows and toasted almonds over the frosting.
- Chill for 1 hour then cut into desired shape.
