Classic Cornflake Cookies
Low on effort but not in flavor! These classic, crispy and crunchy treats are great for holiday drop-ins and cookie swaps!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Butter(2 sticks)
- 0.75 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 cup cornflakes
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees; lightly grease two 9”x13” baking sheets.
- Combine flour and baking powder and sift.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugar and vanilla until fluffy.
- Incorporate the sifted dry ingredients.
- When incorporated, add in corn flakes.
- Drop by teaspoonful onto prepared baking sheets.
- Bake 12-15 minutes or until the cookies have an even brown edge.
- Cool.
